Join the Shop New Canaan Association

A $100 annual membership adding rich profiles, media, events, promotions, featured discovery, and editorial opportunities to eligible New Canaan business listings.

Basic listing — no membership required

Eligible local businesses may be included with a factual Basic listing containing the business name, category, address, phone, social link, standard directory and map placement, and a correction link. Basic listings do not include a marketing description, gallery, event or promotion posting, or featured placement.

Association membership — $100 per year

Membership includes everything in Basic plus:

A searchable profile with member identification, description, and calls to action

Customizable photo and uploaded-video galleries, an owner story, and interview content

Submit events and promotions for review; display current and upcoming offers, events, and related stories on the profile

Priority map treatment and eligibility for rotating featured placement

Participation and editorial opportunities

Eligibility for Thursday Night Shopping and other Association campaigns

Eligibility for business spotlights, interviews, newsletter features, original stories, and social-media collaborations

Attend member meetings, share ideas, and join local projects and cross-promotions

Partner Opportunities

Organizations and businesses may ask about clearly identified placements supporting the Shop New Canaan website, newsletter, and local programming. Partner placement does not include membership or guaranteed editorial coverage. Inquire about partner placements.

Approved applicants receive payment instructions by email, followed by collection of any additional profile images, videos, owner information, and story material. The Shop New Canaan Association is an independent, member-supported organization. Directory eligibility, featured placement, and editorial or social coverage remain subject to review and are not guaranteed on a fixed schedule.
