Wine, spirits, and beer shop specializing in handpicked craft selections, tastings, and owner-guided recommendations.
Wine, spirits and thoughtful recommendationsCraftbottlz brings wine, spirits and beer together in its Morse Court shop, with selections extending to sake, soju, non-alcoholic drinks, cocktail ingredients and ready-to-drink cocktails. The wine range spans reds, whites, rosé, sparkling and orange wines, making the shop a useful stop for both a familiar bottle and something new.
Owner and wine specialist Justin Miller offers guidance based on what you enjoy. The CRAFT CURATES service builds a twelve-bottle case around your preferences; ask the shop about the current selection and terms. Its website also lists tastings, events, the CRAFTCLUB and gift cards. For dinner, a host gift or a larger gathering, bring your menu, budget and preferences to the conversation. Check the shop’s current calendar before planning a visit around a tasting.

Independent community bookstore with books, gifts, children's picks, author events, and downtown browsing energy.
Books, gifts and author eventsElm Street Books pairs downtown browsing with an online catalog, staff picks and bestseller selections. The independent bookshop is a convenient stop on Elm Street for choosing a new read, exploring recommendations or finding a book to give as a gift. Gift cards offer an alternative when you are unsure what the recipient already owns.
The shop’s calendar includes author appearances and book events, with some programs held away from the store. Open the individual event listing before making plans: registration, venue, signing arrangements and cancellations can differ by event. If you have a particular title in mind, contact the booksellers before traveling to check its availability. A visit fits easily into a downtown morning or afternoon, close to the train station and neighboring shops.

Jewelry shop carrying sterling silver, vermeil, chains, charms, rings, bracelets, and giftable accessories.
Jewelry for everyday wear and giftingPennyweights is an Elm Street jewelry shop with a selection centered on sterling silver and sterling vermeil. Its collections include necklaces, earrings, hoops, studs, bracelets, cuffs, bangles, chains, rings, pendants and charms. The range gives visitors several ways to choose a simple everyday piece, add to a layered look or find a gift.
Browse the store or its online collections to compare shapes, lengths and finishes. When buying for someone else, a preferred metal color, approximate size and sense of their usual style can help narrow the choices. Ask the shop about the materials and care instructions for the specific piece you choose, and confirm current sizing, availability and purchase terms directly. The downtown location makes it easy to combine jewelry shopping with other Elm Street stops.

A showroom for kitchen, bath and home projectsReSource 360’s Main Street studio brings kitchen, bath and home materials into one showroom. Its resources span stone and countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardware and cabinetry, helping visitors compare choices that need to work together in a finished space. The business also describes kitchen and bath renovation, interior design and property-management services on its website. For a project discussion, bring measurements, room photos, inspiration and any materials you have already selected. Ask which services match your project, whether an appointment is recommended and what the next steps involve. Luggage and travel goods retailer from the Thursday Night Shopping attendance list.
Travel bags and help choosing luggageTaylors Luggage is a family business whose New Canaan history dates to 1953, following its original Stamford opening in 1951. The Elm Street shop focuses on luggage, travel bags and accessories, with help choosing pieces for the way you travel. Its published services include luggage consultation, gift wrapping and shipping assistance.
When comparing bags, think about whether you usually carry on or check luggage, how much you pack and the kinds of trips you take. Bring the measurements required by your airline rather than assuming that every cabin bag will qualify. The business has also advertised private after-hours appointments; call to confirm whether that service and any other arrangements are currently available. Contact the shop directly for present hours, stock, repairs and brand-specific warranty questions.
